Joining MessageGate in December 2005, Norbert Orth serves as President and Chief Executive officer.  As a veteran of the technology industry, Orth brings nearly 20 years of enterprise leadership to the company and is responsible for all aspects of corporate direction and strategy.  Prior to joining MessageGate, Orth held the position of Vice President of Sales for WRQ, which was acquired and subsequently merged with Attachmate Corporation in 2005.  During his 8 year tenure at WRQ, Orth successfully developed key relationships resulting in large-scale sales with Fortune 500 customers such as Wal-Mart, Citigroup, Bank of America, Wellpoint, and Allstate; and created successful alliances with leading software companies including SAP, Sun, and Hewlett-Packard.
 
Previously Mr. Orth held a variety of leadership positions in sales management and business development at Procter & Gamble as well as Onecast Media.

Orth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Actively involved in his community, he serves on the YMCA Partners with Youth annual campaign.
